Urban sketching Geelong

Love your urban space?  The characters, community, gardens and buildings? Then its time to get out there and sketch it!

After two years of dabbling with the Melbourne Urban sketchers group, we have inspired them to come to Geelong for a day of group sketching with regional artists in and around Geelong on Saturday, February 6th, 2016.

The Melbourne Sketchers, a hard core group used to hours of continued sketching,  will travel to Geelong by train, sketching as they go, arriving at the Geelong Train Station.  Join the group in urban sketching a range of contemporary and heritage buildings, and gardens.

After an afternoon of sketching the organisers will assemble the days sketches into a pop-up Urban Sketchers exhibition in the evening. Some of the artwork will be for sale. For further details or to register for the sketching contact info@studiogeelong.com. There is no cost to join in and sketch.

Travelling in Australia or internationally? Join Urban Sketchers Melbourne or Geelong groups and when travelling connect and sketch with other sketching groups.
